Juno-nominated acoustic singer-songwriter Sheila Carabine recently released her breakthrough solo album, “All In”. The album follows her success as half of the award-winning Canadian folk duo Dala. Sheila has spent more than a decade on the North American indie and folk music scene, touring with popular musical acts including Chantal Kreviazuk, Tom Cochrane, Jann Arden, Matthew Good and the CBC’s Vinyl Café. Dala have been nominated for multiple Canadian Folk Music Awards, and in 2010 they were awarded “Vocal Group of the Year”. In 2011, Dala’s PBS Special “Girls From The North Country” was nominated for a Juno Award. Sheila’s debut solo album “All In” was inspired by her time spent in an Acadian community in the Maritimes, with most of the album having been recorded in a century-old chapel on the shores of St. Mary’s Bay, Nova Scotia.
