Goosebump are a Toronto-based group featuring songwriters Neil Rankin and Paul Erlichman, both Pleasence Records staples. Taking inspiration from groups like Sparks, Talking Heads, and Godley & Creme, they have carved out a sound that would have fit neatly into the Lower East Side scene of late 70s New York, channelling the energy of the early New Wave and No Wave experimentalists while incorporating ambitious arrangements and vocal harmonies that hint at their more baroque ambitions. Their most recent LP "Goosebump by Goosebump" came out in early July 2018.
